Stratosphere Software is an independent studio creating beautifully crafted apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.
We believe technology should be intuitive, reliable, and respectful of your time. That means choosing clarity over novelty and building products that can earn a lasting place in everyday life.
Our apps are deliberately different from one another, but they share the same foundation: focused ideas, careful design, and a commitment to doing the details well.
The people behind it
Two people.
One small studio.
Stratosphere is shaped by Kris and Liam, a husband-and-wife team living in California. Both have built careers across technology and finance, learning to value products that are clear, dependable, and genuinely useful.
Today, Kris is a video game producer and Liam is a software engineer. She brings a producer’s eye for the whole experience; he brings an engineer’s instinct for how the pieces fit together. Both care about the small decisions that make software feel considered.
Away from screens, they share a love of dogs, the outdoors, and playing guitar together. Time on the trail has a way of putting things in perspective—and is often where the next good idea starts.
